Services
Specialising in sports and remedial massage therapy I am a soft tissue therapist based in Old Town, Eastbourne. Following an assessment, I use a range of massage techniques to suit your body and condition.

Sports & Remedial Massage
Massage techniques can be used to;
- Relieve pressure and restrictions on joints.
- Relax muscles by relieving tension and stiffness.
- Flush waste products and toxins from the muscles after surgery or a strain.
- Eradicate pain through releasing trigger points and adhesions.
- Improve psychological well-being and relaxation. All sessions include an assessment, meaning we will work to identify and treat the cause of the issue, which is not necessarily the site of discomfort.
- So whether you play sport, sit at a desk, or other, we have all the tools to ensure you get the outcome you are looking for.

Pre / Post Race Massage
Are you looking to ready your body before an event or recover after an event?
Pre-Race massage can improve flexibility, blood flow and warm the muscles. By removing restrictions more muscle fibres will be made available for recruitment.
This can translate to a bigger catch phase of the swim stroke, stride length whilst running or ease of golf swing from the first tee as an example. I’ve had athletes say they feeling lighter and more powerful after a Pre-Race massage.
Post-Race massage aids recovery by improving flow of nutrients to the muscle and flushing waste products from the muscle, allowing you to return to training in better condition.
For those with a high training volume, massage can be very important in preventing niggles from escalating and giving you the ability to train and race at a better intensity.

Taping
I use several different taping techniques. Kinesiology Taping, Lymphatic Taping & Sports Taping each have their own benefits & after an assessment I will advise which technique will best suit your needs.
Kinesiology Taping: Kinesiology Taping is perfect for achieving quick, simple, safe effective relief from muscular strains & ligament/joint sprains. Kinesiology Taping is used to stabilise a specific area of instability, off-load pain through ‘decompression’, and improve performance & to control swelling using lymphatic kinesiology taping
Sports Taping: Sports’ taping is used for treating & rehabilitating both sporting & non-sporting injuries. Sports taping uses a variety of tapes, zinc oxide, EAB & adhesive mesh tape & these can be used in a clinical or sporting environment to improve performance of athletes & clients. Sports taping can be used for a variety of conditions that may not necessarily be sports related so don’t be put off by the name.

Dry Needling
Medical Acupuncture (Dry Needling) involves inserting fine needles for a therapeutic effect. Overall, it is an adaptation of the Chinese method just using modern up-to-date knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Dry needling can be used as a stand-alone treatment, but is most often used in our practice in conjunction with spinal manipulation or sports massage giving you the most effective treatment within the time given.
Dry needling involves the insertion of fine acupuncture needles into trigger points or tight bands of muscle tissue allowing a relaxing response to your system.
It is a safe and effective method of treatment that can alter the pain threshold and pain perception in the acute and chronic stages of injury.
Dry needling can be used in most cases the majority of the time and with equal or better effect than other manual techniques used.
There is a remarkable absence of post treatment tissue soreness leaving you ready to return to training or work with little or no discomfort the following day.
